![Question](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
Looking under my car last night I see that the exhaust on my C7 coupe consists of a long pipe and muffler that bolt on just after the catalytic converter, since the C7 does not have a resonator. Does anyone sell a bolt on exhaust system from the cat back. C7 owners could easily upgrade their mufflers with no cutting, and non C7 c-class owners could bolt on to replace both the resonator and muffler.

I'd have to imagine it sounds raspy as he... er, ah, it's probably not the most refined exhaust note on the block???

I’d prefer to keep the Stock Catalytic Converter, and just change the exhaust after the cat. I’d also prefer to not have to cut any tubing, but it sounds like no bolt on Exhausts exist for the C230K coupes.

I have a Brabus cat-back system - bolt on with the standard flange just after the cat. It is very low, throaty sound, not loud (unless you really get on it, then it is still pretty subtle). Definately NOT RICEY!
All that said, it is ~$1350 for the system!, but the fit and finish are top-drawer.

Sounds like what I am looking for. A little pricey since most others run ~ $700. Is it completely SS.

i think that the mod company like Brabus, Lorinser, Carlsson, AMG, etc that specialize in MB will have those bolt on type you are talking about. though it will be more expensive.
the Remus that BlackC230coupe uses are actually pretty good and not pricy. Some might think Remus might sound "rice", but that sound is for their product on the japanese imports not German imports.

since remus makes lots of Exhauts for other cars like the japanese cars some of those might not sound as good.
