part missing, cant find it anywhere. please help

part missing, cant find it anywhere. please help
The black plastic mesh looking part right under the license plate of my 2005 C230 Sport Sedan fell off. The big piece in the middle, i still have the smaller two on both sides. I cant find the part anywhere and when i went to mercedes they called it a grill and said that it cost 249 dollars. My car is a lease this is the only reason i want this part and i cant find it anywhere because i dont know what to search for. If anyone could help me that would be great. Thanks.

the mesh grill should not be more than $50. I bought mine for the pre-facelift coupes for $32. You have to explain to them, its the radiator grill, not the bumper grill, explain to them the mesh that goes on the bumper, next to the fog lights. If your at the parts department, ask them to pull up a picture of the Sport Bumper, and point out to them which part your looking for. Or easier, print out a picture of the Sport Sedan, and point out the part where your looking for. No way that part is more than $50

the funny thing is... there was a new SL 550 in the show room of the service department and i showed him the same exact part on the actual car and the ******** advisor says "yeah thats it, 249 dollars" or whatever the price was. Anyone that has a mercedes in Queens, NY... Helms Bros Bayside is the most terrible service department with the least knowledgable advisors that could not change a ****in light bulb in 3 days. I would rather put an extra 30 miles on my car and go to Ralleye to service there. just a FYI

the grill didnt fall off.. i was driving and the mesh piece near the fog lights and under the license plate fell off.. i was going decently fast and maybe something flew up from the road or something but when i checked everything else was fine... it was very weird.

try ebay i seen them on ebay beforefor cheap but 249.00 is alot for that mesh crap..
i got my sideveiw mirror broken 2 days ago the dealer wants $650 for the Glass thats F&*King Crazy for a piece of glass with liquid in it well i guess is cost alot becuase of the Auto Dimming stuff.

I live in queens NY.. and i was thinking about just jacking one but i would hate if someone did that to my car so i dont feel right doing it to someone elses... ive been lookin around ebay and what not.. if anyone finds anything please let me know.
