So I decided to convert it to a 2005+ AMG style sport sedan. nothing really big on my conversion, it looks just like a 2006 C230 kompressor/ Sport sedan. I could've done Lorinser, Brabus, Expression, etc. but I stick to real AMG.

I said that in my first post.. I just don't like how a regular c240's looks. I know there's nothing really special and I'm not bragging about my car...

Thanks for the props

Very nice. Did you remember to replace the rear taillights? It's a slightly different design on the 05s.

Excellent and thorough job. Congratulations.

Looks great!

Hi there, i've got the same old boring C240 (2001) as you do, and have done some cosmetics to the exterior of the car but not quite as handsome as yours. I do have an interest in upgrading the mirror blinkers that you have. I have the frosted, non-clear kind and i saw some from eBay but they still had those ugly lines, even though it was much clearer than stock. Do you have the part number of those blinkers, or better yet, where did you order them from?

Thanks for any information you can give me, happy modding!

Signature.....

Look at my DumB A$$ sig.... does anyone here know how to find the address of the image? I posted my test sig in "test" forum and follow the instruction by RickyAgrawal. Instruction posted in Italics:

Give me a link of the picture you want to insert?

It should be something like

http:// picture address here . jpg

Basically you take that and wrap it inside these tags.

[iimg] in front, and [/iimg] in the rear.

Notice I put two I's. Take out one i so it says img
I did it that way so you could see what i put.

End result would look like this
[iimg]http://picture address here .jpg[/iimg]

Once again, remove the i so it's single i in both []'s.

Thanks! Traded that in for the current model car i'm driving. I'll probably take pics after i've washed it a bit just so I can show what i've done thus far and update that website. In the meantime, i noticed you put the TEIN springs on your car. I didn't know those things were available for the C240. I was led to believe that the front was lowered to something like 2"+ and the rears at 1". Seems the gap on the front is still higher than the rears.

With mine, I ended up getting the H+R's and just installing the front springs and leaving the rear stock, BUT changed the front/rear pads to even things out. It doesn't look that bad, because with the rear H+R's installed, it kind of tucked the tires under the wheel well. I hated the way Mercedes cut the wheel well so high up front and didn't do the same to the back which is why i ended up doing what i did. The ride is still nice, and i didn't have to cut any coils which kind of reminds me of those rice crackers cutting theirs and watching 'em bounce horrendously like they've hydraulic switches set to auto-pilot. Anyway, do you have the website and/or number of the TEIN dealer that sold you your coils? It's probably the most cost effective method to getting a nice drop.

Happy modding!

yeah I was disappointed too!! my car is still high!!! I don't like cutting coils but a lot of peeps here have done it, so I was like-- the hell with it. I bought these spring from Ebay, $110.00 man!! cheap!! They are Authentic, I checked the Tein's website about the Stechs counterfeits. i probably ger some H&R or Tein Coilovers.. Oh yeah cutting coil from Hondas remind me of my old days too, lol I never cut the springs on my Honda though, I had Sprint Extereme-- 3.25 front. 2.75?? rear. Lol look at the '97 Bomex Civic-- sorry kinda small.
