is SOLD
im not even sure aftermarket rain sensors are available. i would recommend going with the factory part and installing it in the car to make it work effectively, but then again the factory rain sensor works "okay".

you can install a factory rain sensor. It is very easy to install but you will require a new windsheild that has the lens of the sensor mounted from factory. Perhaps a replacement for a cracked windsheild???

LOL, with SUNMAN everything is easy.

Wanna convert a gasoline to diesel? I am sure that sunny has worked out the details!

Yeah, ditto. I noticed when it rains, and the wipers are set on auto, I have to still manually click on the "quick wipe" occasionally because the stupid sensor sometimes doesn't know the difference between light and heavy downpour.....

Same here, I think i'm the third person.

The rain sensor works well but not perfectly.

And yes, you do need to replace the entire windshield ($1k I think).

And I don't know if there's any prewiring for a rain sensor.

prewiring not required. Windsheild is more around 450 dollars. I just changed mine.

See Garage
Windshields with rain sensor lenses included, can be installed for as little as $300 or so. See this thread for details... https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w203/150743-windshield-replacement-prices-fyi.html
