went to the dealer today. saw the coupe in black opal. interesting, and different. i wish black opal had more of a blue/grey tint than the green tint.

2002 C240 6-spd (ret)
When I first started checking out MB's, I saw a used CLK320 in Black Opal with Oyster interior and really liked it. I had considered it briefly when getting ready to order my C240, but it had a $1000 special order charge. I ended up w/ Capri Blue which I like a lot. Since then, I've seen a few sedans (older C's and a couple of E's), and I now feel I don't love it on the sedans. It might look better on a more sleek shape (i.e., coupe). Just my $.02.
