White C230 Coupes
I just came from the dealer after getting the wifes' C 240 serviced and I saw a white c230 coupe in the showroom. What do you people think of white coupes? Are they too feminen(sp?)?
Are they "cheap looking"? I liked it (I'm a 31 yr.old guy),and my
buddy (a 32 yr.old guy) like it as well.

Not cheap or girlie, just doesn't seem to fit, but once the windows are tinted looks decent, but it defintely needs the C7 package/Evolution with the 17" rims, the normal 16" rims don't look good on a white C230K.
Its like could you imagine the C230K in yellow? probably not cause the colour just doesn't seem to work well.
Personally I love white cars, my current ride is white, but it just didn't fit this car as well as I would've liked.

2003 C230 Coupe (6MT)
You'll probably guess my answer just by reading my user id...
I love white cars in general, and think the coupe looks great in white with black interior. Maybe I just like being a bit different than the typical silver or black? When I ordered my '03 in July I was going back and forth between silver and white, but when I saw 3 silver's one afternoon in my neighborhood my decision was obvious. Although I love the color, I didn't want to be a sheep, so white it was! (Plus you save a few bucks w/o the metalic paint)
Car is either on the water or in Baltimore. Due in Chicago in the next few weeks. CAN'T WAIT! ('03 230K, C5, 6-Speed, +CD)

everyone's got their own opinion on the best colour for a certain car, hence the vareity of colors out there.... it would be super boring if we all like the same color.......
that said, I've always wanted a WHITE car... and now I've got one....
I really like it.....
hehehhehe..... that green color is growing on me now too.... looks so much better in real life.... I think this color would suit a girl pretty good... my opinion only.... :p

I don't like white cars, they are way too plain and you can't see the lines very well.
That car in another thread that is a White C240 with a full Lorinser body kit, you can barely see the body kit.

I got a white C240 and I ma very happy with the look of the car. I have also seen white C-Coupes...like the look of them also. White may make the car look a little understated/maybe a little generic...does not really stand out in a crowd. That may also be a matter of opinon - some people may thnk differently. But, I did not buy the car to stand out. To me, the less attention, the better. There is some pictures of a new E-class in white with the pano roof. I am not sold on the pano roof idea, but I really like that car - it had the Brabus aero kit and wheels.

It's a color - totally subjective. If you like it, who cares what we say? But, personally, I like white better than silver, and that's not just because Accord said it. Silver's the most popular color right now, so it's everywhere. White is also a nice backdrop to a nicely done custom leather interior, to drop a hint of what you should do.

Wife and I just got a C230 in white as her primary car. Silver or Orion would have been my first choices, however a) our other car is silver, and two silver cars just seems boring, and b) it was the last of the 2002s at the dealer equipped the way we wanted it (though it didn't have the C7 pkg which now I wish I'd held out for).
White is definitely growing on me, especially after washing and waxing this past weekend - seems like it will be relatively easy to keep clean. I plan on tinting soon, which should also look great on white.

i like white color its easy to maintain and it looks nice and clean...but on big cars i would prefer a different color but white makes a small car looks big...just my opinion...

Any light colored coupe wouldn't look good from the back end because the black-see-thru-window in the rear under the spoiler lip will clash colors with a lighter colored body.
Only the black, obsidian and capri blue will blend in nicely.

there is one other around here in white...me. I especially liked the $600 I found in the console. I have the bike rack, too. I was able to use the hardware from 2 bike racks plus some stainless allens and washers to attach
a ski/camp box.
