I just have to give a big ups to MB..
'Cuz evidently I have a sign attached to my CF lip (like how I did that dont ya?) that says "pull the f*ck out in front of me, please!". Within the last 24 hours, I have seriously had 3 near collusions. Not that any other car couldn't performed the same way, but the braking system handling sure paid off.
The 1st instance wasn't really the lady's fault...ok yeah it was, its a known intersection for being hard to see over the hill, but I clearly saw her only looked one way b4 she pulled out in front. I slid to hault, flat spotted the hell out my new tires most likely. bout 6 feet from her door. I'm sure she ***** her pants as well.
Today, crusin along a 2 lane road at 55 mph, and buddy at the light oming from opposite direction all of sudden decides that now was a good time to turn left. I had swurve into the oncoming lane in order not to hit him. I tried braking but as I slid i realizeed I wasn't going to stop in time, and just noticed no one else was coming in that direction thankfully and gunned it to that side. The hooked a left into the nearest parking lot. Some more flat spot tires I'm sure. Unfortunately the chick who was riding next to me in the mazda6 wasn't so lucky and she clipped the back end of his truck. Spun herself around onto the center median and him into the Mickey D's sidewalk.
So after dealing with the police....I finally head home. Grandma about 1/2 car length in front of me apparently thinks that making a left turn from the far right lane is best thing since slice bread. Another dead stop needed to avoid that. Something tells me I'll buying new tires much sooner that I had wanted.

On the truck that turn left, I applied hard enough to get one 2 good grabs, or pulses I should say from ABS, but again...no way I was going to stop in time.

Just had a near miss the other day myself.
I'm pulling to a stop at a light, look over to my right at the car in the next lane, which is stopping at the light too. Suddenly, that car jumps forward, and I look back and a guy in an old beatup pickup truck has just slammed into the back of their car. Thank god the guy in the pickup did not happen to changes lanes one to the left, or I would have had a real bad day.

ouch, with so many flat spots it prob covered the whole area of the tires. this is one of the reason why i don't like driving my benz. i love it too much to see it get damaged by other careless ppl

I have seriously not seen a single flat spot on any tire in my life except on my little 25cc goped in highschool. But Flat spots? on a mercedes? I would expect the ESP and traction control to allow the tires to roll rather than keep the tires locked and attract those awesome flat spots......
otherwise you would be shopping on tirerack the following week looking for some new rubbers.Anyway, way to avoid some nasty collisions haha. Could have been a sad day.
