Which MODs - Pictures plz...
At last i got the speedtronic problem my car had fixed, after visiting more than 6 MB workshops, buts thats another story!
Now i want to MOD the hell outta my car, and any help would be great! This is my first MB, so i dont know much about which kind of mods there is out there, but i have seen alot on this forum, and plenty of really really nice cars!
I have a C230 Kompressor sportscoupé from 2001, it is "born" with the AMG sports packet and chassis, apart from that, its stock....
So help me out guys, what should i buy and install, i want more power and i want it to look very aggresive! Please provide pictures if possible :-)
THANKS ALOT!
Ps. I will upload pictures of my car later on today!
All of what you want has been discussed before. There is a sticky at the top of the forum for body kits. Search for M111, that's the code for the engine you have.

Do the tail lights fit a European model coupé?
And to the people telling me to look at the sticky, thanks, i already did that,... but i am asking what people here think i should mod and do with the car, and not what is possible only...
thank you all

1) How much do you want to spend?
2) What's more important to you, performance, looks or a combination of both?
3) How much do you have available to spend?
4) Did I mention, how much do you want to spend?...LOL...j/k.
All jokes aside, in order for people to give you a good idea of where to start, your budget is #1 priority because if you had unlimited budget, the immediate answer would be to put on EVERY SINGLE mod that is available for the coupe and the m111 engine (and there are many more than the m271 at this point).
Either way, good luck with those mods and I guarantee, as soon as you indicate how much you want to spend, people will have more responses for you.
To start with i want to spend around 8 till 10.000$ on it.... I want performance and looks so yea a combination of both!
And it is available to spend yes hehehe
Did i mention it was 8000 till 10000$? Haha

I next recommend the AMG brake package.
\As for pics, sorry, but I'm too lazy to put my pics in.

Renntech pulley: $1,600 installed
Tein SS suspension and alignment: $1,500 installed (will save $300 if you go with a non-coilover instead)
Some kind of rear spoiler, painted and installed: $600
18" 1-piece rims w/serious rubber: $2,000
Eisenmann exhaust: $1,000
Front chin spoiler installed and painted: $800
Tint job: $250
Rear debadging: $FREE
Brabus steering wheel: $900
Recaro driver's seat: $900
That leaves you w/$450 for misc. mods like door pins, pedals, shift knob, or about 14 lap dances.
Of course, I'm not sure how much of this stuff is available to you (might need to buy Carlsson/Kleemann stuff in your area, for example), or what your tastes are, but that's what I'd do.
EDIT: oops - didn't see request for pics:
Here goes:
Brabus steering wheel:

18x8 OZ Ultraleggeras, Renntech rear spoiler and Carlsson front lip (also Stoptech brake upgrade and Eibach pro-kit suspension):

Eisenmann exhaust, tinted tails, and Renntech spoiler again:

Recaro driver's seat, with the addition of 2003 seat belt extender:

Also got colored interior trim, which is nice as well from Steve:

That's the major stuff that you can see for the mods that I recommended.

$1000 - Eisenmann exhuast
$500 - ASP pulley
$700 - ECU flash
$1600 - Tein SS coilovers
$500 - H&R sway bars

$5400
Appearance:
$2000 - 19" replica wheels and rubber
$600 - Lorinser roof wing ($400 + paint/prep)
$300 - ForMyMercedes replica Renntech wing painted
$1600 - Brabus front/rear lip spoilers ($600 each + paint/prep)

$10100 total

With that, I'd either add it on to the 2 grand and go with 19" staggered w/ tires (even though it does increase weight a bit) or use the $1,800 on the Brabus lip or some other body piece available for the coupe.
Also, you could probably find some good quality 18" 1 piece rims for less than $2,000 wrapped in good tires, but like Tommy said, we're not sure how much "access" you have to certain things where you are. Work and Rays Engineering (Japanese) companies have a great reputation and very nice wheels. In fact, some of their 3 piece designs were used as basis for some HRE wheels.

Don't listen to Drex on the interior recommendations; he has no fashion sense.

tommy, how do you like the Ultraleggeras?
Of course, I curbed one two weeks ago, so I'm gonna have to do something. Talked to Tirerack, and they THINK that they'll be released in a wider size eventually. So, I'm gonna wait and see on a replacement. If they come out before next spring in a 9" (stock rims will be back on for winter), I'll get two, powdercoat them, and slap them on the rears; otherwise, I'll get a new 8" eventually, and try to get the rash removed.
), I'd trade in my car and get one that would satisfy your a) performance criteria ( i.e. ample power, better handling, etc.) b) style and c) purpose. Budget will be easier assuming you have $10K.I'm not trying to rain on the modding parade but, at some point, thowing more money on something will not yield the satisfaction you thought you'd have. There's a point at which you'll get diminishing return and I say $10K is way past that point.

Yes perhaps 10k would be great in the US to put in and get another car, but here ( Denmark, Europe ) 10k is nothing, specially not if you want to upgrade a car!
I moved to Sweden so i at least could get a little more for my money, but still 10k wont get you far, let me show you a price for a MB in DK;
A Mercedes Benz C200 Kompressor from 2004, that has gone 120.000 Kilometers, cost 140.000$, and that is cheap if you can find it at that price....
Hehe Danish prices are crazy!
Lovin' the fact that my 3 piece 19's are lighter than stock 17's. Although I'm starting to feel the difference in having less rubber (in height).
1/3 the price of a c32 engine, but its all the same except for the engine cover.

Actually, it is on my list, just not that high. Have to do a complete do-over on the stereo, alcantara headliner, maybe a Brabus rear end, and I'm sure I can think of other things also. Not to mention my monthly bill of $500 for repairs, it seems.
Besides, I'm still waiting on someone to get the resistor for the airbag sensor completely worked out before I make my attempt.
