I changed my brakes pads out last week at 27K and I changed my back tires out at 26K.

Wow, that's really early. Do you drive a lot of city? Did you also have to change the rotors at the same time?

I drive 100 miles a day and a majority is during high traffic hours.

No, I didn't change my rotors. After checking them, I've only used them half way. So I will change the pads and the rotors next time.

You brakes should have sensors on them. When they wear out enough and the sensor rubs on the rotor it will send a signal to your car, notifying you of service. How fast your brakes need to be changed depend on your style of driving. But either way, you should not need to change your brakes until the service light comes on. The sensors for your car should look something liek this... The white part just plugs into the back of your brake pad so that when it gets to the end it trips the sensor. Good luck with that! Oh and by the way... they cost like 7 Bucks a pop. You should only need them for your front pads, not rear.

My car is at 42,000Miles. I have EBC rear disc and pads sitting in my garage. Still waiting on the front disc and pads from the manufacture. I've been waiting for almost 1 1/2 months now, still don't have it. I called, they said they are really short on the 13.6" size rotor

I will put them on as soon as I get them along with Super Blue Racing brake fluid. I would expect to replace them at around 50,000 miles.

I wanna replace them before my brake warning light comes out, I think the brake sensor cost like $20 each, which is cost I can avoid if I change it early.

I changed my rear tires out at 25k, unfortunately early, due to a nail in the side wall.

When I took the car to Sears the guy there did a tread wear measurement all around the car. The rears were a 6 on a scale of 10. What I was told was that 3 is the acceptable legal tread life. The fronts were 9s. Mostly cause I didn't rotate the tires. (I don't know if you can with them being staggered.)

Also good luck on finding tires that will fit your car in stock anywhere. I had to call 5 different tire shops around Connecticut to find a place and no one had the original Michelins that came with the car. I ended up with some cheapo Falcons on the car.

As far as brakes go, I just got my car out of Service B two days ago ($350 dollars later) I asked about the brakes and they said the pads were more than fine for the mileage on the vehicle (26k). I do a lot of highway driving as well as coasting / using the transmission when I need to slow down. I'd expect the brakes to go for at least another 25k.

I purchased them thru MBpartswarehouse and they basically do a dropship from the manufacturer which is EBC. The order which was 7 monthes ago was not coming thru so today I called them up and said they had no ETA from EBC to get the product to me. I got a refund and purchased a week ago Porterfields from Jerry.

I got the RS4's for my 05 made of ceramic whatever and say's Racing PADS on the box. Came with the new silencer kit which has this new lube kit made of some spaceage material which suppose to be better than the high temp grease you normally use on the shims or outside of the brakepad to prevent the squeaks.

I can't wait to put it on. I'm going to clean the wheels too before I put them back on and I got this new Tire spray which is awesome because it doesn't fling on to the body like other sprays do for the tire shine.
