Help with adding AMG Kompressor to C320
I found a great deal on a supercharger from C32AMG 2004 and was wondering if it’s compatible with my C320 Coupe 2005-year (W203). Is it possible at all to add the original compressor from C AMG model to regular C-class, if so what kind of problems to expect.
I appreciate any advice. Also, if anybody had business with Quality Auto Parts
http://www.qaparts.com, please tell me if it’s a reliable seller.
Thank you,
Andrew

It will cost you a lot of money to get it to work. You will have to spend money on a new ECU ($1600), intake manifold, pistons, cams ($1200), practically all the internal engine components. That is because the C320 is naturally aspirated, and has 11:1 compression ratio, and C32 Kompressor has 9:1 compression ratio because of different internal components. If you slap on the supercharger without lowering the compression ratio, your engine will detonate and go kaboom! It probably wouldn't run correctly anyways.
You will end up spending alot more money trying to use the C32 AMG supercharger than just getting a Kleeman supercharger kit.
