the front of the car was not too bad. front right was 3 degrees toed out and the left was 2 degrees. Supposed to be no toe out.
The rear was camber 3 degrees on right tire and 4 on the left. supposed to be 1 degree. The toe angle on rear left tire was 6degrees, the right was 4 degrees.
So they called the Mercedes rep, and I have 4 new tires on my way. I got a free Cutter/Buck Mercedes shirt too

With 5 degrees of toe-out; how was the handling?

Bit confused here. Never owned a Benz before, but with all my other cars... if I took it in and it was misalligned, the dealer would have told me that I shouldn't have hit 'that curb' and would have laughed out loud if I tried to get new tires from them. (And would have charged me for the re-alignment!)
Am I missing something? Is the customer always right with the MB service department?

I had a wreck in it. They supposedly fixed it, but they forgot to do an alignment before they gave the car back to me. So they couldnt say i hit a curb, because they could not even prove that they aligned the car in the first place. Its only been 2000 miles since wreck and 15000 total. The tires are bald but only the inside of the tires.
