Anyone buy rubber mats designed specifically for the C-Class?
Sand and black Carpet Mats do not mix well ... yes it's an exciting and high tech mod, but it's necessary ...

I tried both and kept the MBZ. It fits better around the gas pedal, and they have clips that fit on the factory floor posts. This keeps the mat from moving around. In the snow they collect a lot of water. I keep an old towel in the back to soak up the water.

Not all MBZ carpeted floormats have the clips that fit over the posts. Mine did not.
I have the Weathertech, and they fit very nicely. Despite their weight, they can move around slightly, so I bought some springy, metal carpeting retaining clamps in the automotive dept at Wal-Mart. Works great.

Out Of Control!!
I have the weather tech trunk mat, and it works great. Had their floor mats, but the red outline offended me greatly. So went with a set of cocomats, and they're great - I really like 'em, and they keep dirt within them very well. The little smurf specs that you can get in one of the colors was an added bonus.

The Weathertech trunk liner is a MUST. I like mine so much, I bought one for the wife's car, too.
Weathertech has a very nice Tan set of floor mats that match my Java interior very nicely. I have them front and rear.
tommy's right about the black mats. Don't know why Weathertech thinks the red line is so "sporty." It's like putting racing stripes on an electric tooth brush.

i got my mbz mats when i bought the car. dry quickly, wash/hose off easily. the mats do not move much because they snaps to the post(front mats) and the backings have points to claw/grab onto the upholstery.
the mats do look grey and drabby when dry but that does not bother me. one can probably dress them up with rubber dressing but that may make them slick.
there is mbz trunk tray

but i would think the weathertech cargo liner is a better buy

thanks again everyone! ... I might end up w/ a C55 Hybrid
WT in the trunk & MBZ on the floor... I'll check again w/ the Stealer about the MBZ trunk mat that's availible as an option on new cars. Had similar style MBZ "trunk" mat in my wife's ML & it worked well.
... rice rice baby ...

2003 C230K Coupe Orion Blue
Got both the OEM MBZ trunk and floor mats (I have a Coupe). Coupe trunk mat fits a little strange (about 2-3cm too wide on the left side), but floor mats fit nicely. I bought the trunk mat in Germany though.
