I've noticed that the new MB's come with the white decal on the lower passenger side of the windshield with Mr. Daimler's signature on it. The newest version just says Mercedes on it, along with "An official Mercedes-Benz product." I just purchased one for my 02 C320 and one for my mothers 00' ML320. So maybe the decal was a bad idea? I do like the signature one better but i couldn't find it. And hey, for $3.99, it's no big deal. I'm also looking to get the sport badges for the front fenders.

Probably. When I had to replace my windshield, the tech transferred the signature decal along with the registration and inspection decals on the driver's side.

That's possible, or maybe the previous owner removed it.

The signature adds a little touch of class I think.. they've been doing it forever. Mine is starting to shrink from the sun slightly, I think I'll call the dealer and con them out of a new one to stash away in case they disappear or start saying "in bed with DODGE" on them.

Don't feel bad. At least you haven't paid ForMyMercedes.com $40 for the same flat hood badge you can buy at the dealer for $25.

Lesson here: Anything with a MB Part number on it can be ordered from the dealer. Dealer part prices are not always the highest.

Yea, my mind has been poisoned with the fact that all items from the dealer are more expensive than from anywhere else. But i guess it pays to shop around first. I need to call them for an extra smart key anyway. I have one from another C but from reading the threads, most dealers can't program it to match mine.

I removed the Alarm stickers and the Baby's-Head-Exploding warning stickers from the visors. Next project, remove the Daimler signature, it is fugly...but less so than the Mercedes one.

i remember seeing this sticker when i was a kid and thinking "gee i wonder if MBs without this sticker are fakes?" and whenever i saw a benz i would look for that sticker to be sure it wasn't a fake MB
