Rear suspension problems?

I apologize but I just didn't know what to put in the search engine.
I will do my best to describe the problem but I don't know if it'll make any sense.
When I go over bumps or really rough roads the rear of the car hops(?) and sways left and right(make sense?), very unstable in other words.
The car is lowered with H&R springs and I'm running 19x10in the rear.
Also the rear right shock needs to be replaced.
Thank you very much for your help.

Thank you guys. The thing is that this whole problem started not too long ago. The shocks been bad for about 2 months. Anyways, I'm taking the car to the dealer tomorrow. I'll cross my fingers and hope that it is the bad shock. Thank you again.

Hey dude, My rear suspension is like that too! I have Tein S-techs with stock shocks.... It wasn't like that before I sent it to the alignment shop, I think they messed it up; or maybe the shocks are bad. I hope not...

Will you let me know if replacing the rear shocks will solve our problem?

Thanks man.

Now that you mention it....I took my car in to the dealer to get something fixed and they did an alignment also. Makes me wonder now. I will post results as soon as I get the shock replaced.

no luck

I just got the shock replaced yesterday at the local dealer. Nothing has changed, still the same problems. I asked the service advisor and he said that the car is doing that because the car is lowered. I told him the car was fine when I lowered it before why is it doing that now? He then changed his answer to "it could be the tire, it might be over inflated". I give up, I guess I'll have to just memorize the streets that I take and avoid all the bumps :p Anyways, thanks for the input and help ppls. (^ . ^)

Did you try tightening the swaybars? Maybe the bolts have loosened a bit since you've been dropped and now is causing a little more reverb in the cabin?

Are you sure you are talking to a mechanic? Sounds like he's trying to make money off of you. Can you slap that guy for me?

That sucks for both of us man... We're riding like we have hydraulics... Maybe rear camber kits is our last resort?

You are talking about the rear swaybar right? Is there a rear swaybar?

I'm not sure 'bout the coupe. Realized that this was a coupe after I posted. And yes, I am referring to the rear swaybar.
