Thinking of getting either H&R sport springs or tein s techs...NEED HELP!

Hi guys...kinda new at the forum....maybe been here for only 3 weeks...just got an 06 c230 ss and I'm ready to lower the car...I really wanted something like the basics or the tein ss coilovers..but I feel that I would be wasting my stock shocks if i just replace them right away....anyway..i really wanted to get the H&R sport springs but a lot of ppl start to cut their coils or change pads...is it really that bad out of the box? does it sit really uglywithout cutting or changing of the pads? coz I dont want to do any of that..please help!!!

i would get h&r springs because of the stiffer spring rate, but then again you would have to cut the coil in the front to match the drop in the rear. you say you don't feel like wasting the shocks, but why wear them out? they're obviously going to wear out faster because of the drop and eventually end up getting new shocks anyway. you could save money and get coilovers or just get the whole shock/spring combo at once.

Didn't realize you did that first. I would've told you to save your money and ride on stock suspension until you could afford the coilovers.
