I understand what you are pointing out. Truly everyone should be aquainted with their car. At least being able to check fluids, tires, the basics.

Performing a Service A or B on the W203 is so easy its ridiculous. Its just common sense for me to do the service myself since I have the tools, and a tiny, and I do mean tiny, amount of knowledge. Once more of these vehicles are out of warranty, I suspect more people will be performing the services themselves.
