the loaners/rentals belong to the Car rental company and most of the time it's Enterprise. the dealership don't actually own these cars and Enterprise certainly don't give a damn as long as you return the car in one piece and looks good.

Just mentioning, the C55 is a safety car on many European race tracks. It can't be that slow... It's gotta get in front of all those race cars which is no easy task. There's a reason why they use that car, because it isn't slow.

Admittedly, the C230 isn't exactly a fast car, however, to compare the C230 with the C55 is a bit odd. To say the C55 is slow and then pretend to be amazed that the C230 is slow is... That's a bit silly.

Lastly, if you know how to drive a C230, and you're in the proper gear range and you don't mind your engine rpms coming close to 4000 rpms, it's actually a fairly fast car.

hmm good point! If I have some time today I think I will give Mercedes Benz of Fresno a call to inform them of the abuse their customer is putting the loaner car through. They ought to make sure these punks never get another loaner as long as they own a Benz.

Never, you can swap the whole AMG kit, taillights and bi-xenons and they will never know. Problem is to figure out how to have your C-class and the loaner at the same time. They will on the other hand notice if you return the car with no headlights, tails and no bumpers or side skirts, lol!

Word, that's very true.

All of the rentals at my dealership (which also uses Enterprise) don't have the Bi-Xenons.

If you were to do something like that, and hopefully not get caught, you'd have to do it inbetween the time you pick up your car and drop off the car at the rental company. You and your accomplice have to drive both of the cars to a shop and switch everything rather quickly.

Very creative idea. I would've never thought of something like that. I'm not saying that I support it, but props for the creative thought. Kudos Ryan; Stewie would be proud.

if you have a 2005-up C240 or C280...it's time to upgrade them to a sport packaged car.
