Weird windshield wiper problem help.

Weird windshield wiper problem help.
I've had this problem for quite a while and still can't figure out how to fix this.
Problem is that when i press the my windshield wiper to do a quick spray, my aftermarket stereo will shut off while its doing it and then it will turn back on after the wipers are through. At first, i thought maybe my stereo was drawing too much current and thats why it shut off. But then i routed my deck straight to the 12V battery and its still doing it. Now occassionally when i turn my ignition on, my windshield wipers will do one cycle and stop. I would say this happens 1 out every 3 times i start my car. I suspect it has something to do with my ignition connection?? or maybe a fuse problem with the wipers (my wipers do function perfectly) ?? Does anyone know what the hell is going on?
