Has anyone replaced std brakelights with LED bulbs on the sedan or coupe?????
When I tried the LEDs on my car the OEM brake light bulb was a little brighter but when compared to the LED it made the red on the taillight look whitish, the LED looked reder-nicer.
but.....the LED's lite up red...maybe if they were white since the lens is red already they'd be better.
not worth $52
the LED is supposed to be a lot brighter NOTICEBLY...its not the case with the bulbs I rcvd...

I also ordered a pair of red ones from the same source, tried them on the Coupe and reverted back to the stock bulbs. Instead, I put the LEDs in my Volvo S70, where they make one hell of a difference - their speed of operation compared to regular bulbs is noticable without any instruments.
For the Coupe one might try angle-mounted LED bulbs, but they are insanely expensive (around $85/pair), at least I couldn't find any cheaper on the Ineternet.

I got these for the LED look like in the newer S and E's plus the fact they won't burn out as quickly...they look just like a regular bulb in the sedan's RED lens (the actual LED bulb shouldn't light up red IMO)...
well folks - I hooked up the right brake LED brake light yesterday -- with a load equalizer - and guess what --- the LED's are not even as bright as the stock bulb --- plus I still got the error msg -- it said the R brake light AND the R tail light out!! I think he told us the wrong wire(s) for the load eq hook-up
don't bother - very disappointed here....!!!!
I'm sending mine back.
I have yet to receive my bulbs. But I am already disappointed enough.....oh well.....maybe we will find a company some day who makes the whole rear assembly just like the S-class!!
OR maybe just go & buy a S-class???
I have the sedan Vadim, so are facing to the rear directly.

Ya, this really sucks, I was hoping they would look cool. How about LED turn signals in the front lights (amoebas)? What we really need is someone to develop clear tail light colors. Anyone know of a company? Anyone done it themselves? Grr...

What's all that hype about "looking cool"? These are STOP LIGHTS, not X-mas tree lights! Their ONLY purpose is to save your *** from cars behind you!
But I really wonder how "futzin' amazin'" can they be as claimed by "Viktorious"?????

maybe WHITE leds would be better ??
watcha think Harris ??
I wonder where "Viktorious" got his bulbs ?
i have the LED's installed in my C320, you need the load equalizer. because i asked Jerry if i really needed it, and he said that if i didnt buy the load equalizer, i would have error in my dash.... so i bought the equalizer.... here is the price breakdown...
2 LED Rear Turn Signals- $38.00
2 LED Front Turn Signals- $38.00
2 LED Brake Lights- $38.00
6 Load Equalizers- $30.00
All in all, the LED's will work if you buy the Load Equalizers....
and they look futzin' amazin'! a hell of a lot better than OEM!!!
