Something you may not have known
Something I didn't know till recently is that on my 2002 C230K the bass and treble controls operate independently for the radio and the cassette. In other words, the cassette has it's own bass and treble levels, and the radio has it's own bass and treble levels. Just figured I'd share that in case others didn't realize this.

The Weather Band does too.
I wish I had the Bose system in my 2002 C240, but the base system has proven to be "ok". If I were in the car longer each day I'd probalby upgrade it. House improvements are taking priority right now.
But, I found it interesting that even the weather band has its own memory for settings.

In sum, each input device has it's own programmable settings for volume, bass, treble, etc. It's all covered in your owner's manual... but of course, everyone knows that so I needn't remind everyone...

I thought that opening behind the radio display is a seret compartment !!! You know for that extra key or the extra 100 bucks to "support" our local law enforcers when we are pulled over for traffic non-conforming behaviour
Peace
