![Question](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
Since I purchased my car, I've been dreaming of somehow hooking up my phone to my car...
The problem, though, is that I'm unsure of my options and which route to take... I don't really know whether or not my car is already pre-wired for a phone, but I've taken some pics of features that makes me think it is...

I've seen the aftermarket unit you can purchase (atheros or something), but it costs something around $800
I've also looked @ http://wireless4mb.com/ and I see that there is a bluetooth cradle adaptor for a v60 cradle... I'm assuming you buy the v60 cradle, hook it up to the jack in the center console... and connect the bluetooth adaptor to the cradle... is that not correct? Would it really be that simple?
Just looking for my best option and your opinions... Thanks!

Nothing MB related (sorry)
You can get a Bluetooth phone kit installed in your car... price depends on when the car was manufactured. Since you have a US spec MB, your car is pre-wired for phone.
You can NOT just use the V60 BT adapter if you don't have a phone kit (phone module + cradle) installed in your car.
If you want to know more about it, you can contact Steve@MBenzNL.com.

For your car the Argos kit found at http://www.eurocarphone.com/ is the best option. It enables all the functions on your radio & steering wheel, and the install is just pluging in a connector in your trunk. The reason I reccomend this kit over the one found at http://wireless4mb.com/ is you can use any bluetooth phone from any provider with Argos. The kit from http://wireless4mb.com/ requires you use their phones. And by the time you get the proper cradle, install and bluetooth adapter, you will probably spend over $800 anyway, for a less flexible system. In a year or so when a new cool new phone comes out, you can get without worry about it being approved by MB.
