Did have to do some bumper trimming. About 1.25", I might give it a little more breathing room and trim off a little more.

Installation was a breeze after figuring out how much to trim. No welding needed. The Eisenmann exhaust, full stainless, comes with a clamp and extra sleeve. If you have the C320 like I do, you don't need the extra sleeve. Just measure and cut the old muffler off allowing about 3 inches of the old pipe to slide into the new eisenmann exhaust. Uses existing rubber mounts, align new exhaust, get someone to hold it in place. Then tighten the Clamp. That's it. Took me about 4 hours with bumper trimming to get mine perfect. Sounds Nice!!!

I'm going to get an air filter next! Anyone know which one to go with? K&N drop in?

Yeah! so much better than stock. I heard that a drop in K&N will make it sound even deeper. Do you have an intake or Drop in Air filter?

Do you have the connecting pipe on it? I just put mine on last week, and I don't have a filter for it YET soon I will have more of the engine done. I am thinking that I might take out the cat to and just have it straight piped

how do you like the H&Rcup kit? I don't know whether to go with that or a KW suspension

About the H&R cup kit.... It's the Bomb, love it. Nice stiff ride, especially with my 19's on... I'll put them back on in a week too. I'm getting AMG front and rear sway bars put in within the next couple of weeks. A MB tech I know told me it adds so much to the handling as well. Can't wait! Brake kit after that.

It doesn't fit the Sedan. It's for the coupe only. But brabus does make one for the Sedan as well.

Hey, kineda, can you describe the sound of the muffler before/after. I have the brabus exhaust also and think it's a bit too quiet. But i think yours will be better since you have a pulley.

Remus, Brabus, Kleemann and Renntech as far as I have seen in person are all teh SAME EXACT MUFFLER WITH DIFFERENT TIPS & PRICES.


I have a remus on my coupe its too quiet. I have owned both remus and renntech, and they have the same sound. Judging by the shape the brabus is the same, there all maunfactured by sebring of Austria..


I heard the eisenmenn is a beastly nice loud exhaust the race one that is!

thats what I want next, the remus isnt cuttin it anymore.

I got my Eisenmann installed 2weeks ago. I got the High Performance model. Sounds nice and I don't even have a High flow air filter yet. It will sound Beast when I get that done! Didn't want the Race model... They tell me it's very LOUD. Definitely go with Eisenmann Race if you want V12 sound.
