What do you mean by "bolt on", you have to cut the original exhaust one way or the other and weld the Eisenmann on. Its the same for all exhausts.

From what I know, all eisenmann exhaust are direct bolt on replacements with no need to cut and weld the stock piping. I have one on my coupe and it just bolted on, I dont see how the sedan would be any different...

That's not true. The vast majority of their Mercedes Applications are cut and clamp installs

Dave,

You are right, we had to cut the stock pipe then clamp or bolt on the eisenmann. All is well now and I will be posting pics soon.

Thanks,

mig

if the original exhaust isnt bolt-on, theres no way to have a bolt-on aftermarket system....youre going to have to cut the stock exhaust pipe somewhere, even if you just want to clamp on the new one....its not a terribly big deal, it certainly doesnt prevent you from simply rewelding your stock exhaust back on later if you needed to...
