Where in Sydney can you get it from as there is no dealer for Remus in Brisbane anymore ? Had a 2 x 90mm muffler on my WRX great sound and am looking to get one for the C200.

The locally made exhaust (Hi-Tech) claimed that he got 17KW gains at the wheels for C320 sedan!!.... He said that he dynoed the car.. He hasn't got a customer with C200K but he said that I should get more KW as the engine is supercharged . I already told him that I'm getting my exhaust from his shop this Saturday but I read quite a number of posts that changing the exhaust even from the catback won't get significant gain and now I'm having a second thought ....
that sure sounds fishy, did the exhaust shop give you a printout of the dyno report? or the name of the guy so you could speak with him? that sounds like way too much gain for only changing one part. also the stock exhaust is well made. i don't see a lot of room for improvement at least in the tubing. it is all mandrel bent, and gently curved. maybe the muffler is the sticking point, i don't know.
He also told me that he'll pay for the dyno before and after....now thats a plus. But the exhaust that hes selling is a bit too expensive, I'm sure that if I own a Honda or any japanese car (except WRX or 200SX) I can get his exhaust for 1/2 price than what he quoted me for the Merc..... And I also think that his muffler is a bit to ricey for european car....just my 2 cents...
This is the shops website if somebody wants to have a look

Is the Remus a simple bolt on muffler or will you need to cut the rear apron to have the tips clear? $590 for the muffler is not a bad price, when you consider all the other ones are even more expensive....I think the Eisenmann one is about the only one closest to that price. Supersprint, etc are %700 and up.
