I am thinking about buying the high flow cat, there one for sale that's 2.5, but the coupes piping is 2 or 2 1/8. Would this help or hurt the performance? I am planing to do dual exhaust with a muffler where the resonator is with the pipes extending out to the tips. Thanks

Those prices are tempting. Almost too good, particularly for stainless.
Some types of stainless are not as desirable as coated mild steel for daily drivers because it’s prone to cracking. Their tri-y design has proven worthwhile (on other engines at least – never seen them tested on a MB) at boosting mid range torque more than the typical 4-into-1 style.
Better would be to catch up with TVT_DESIGN to have them fabricate some for our chassis, IMHO.

that said, people buy ebay headers all the time on e46 BMW's. They say that fitment is a little off, but it can be worked with. Too bad leggit headers cost soooo damn much
