Does any one have Dual Exhaust on c230k?

I need a new bumper and i was thinking maybe get the c55 amg bumper and get dual exhaust and does that void the warranty? i just dont know if it will look ugly with dual exhaust.

There are quite a few people who have done it, but you don't need to get a new bumper for it. The dual exhaust you'll have to get will have an extended tip that will start from the muffler and cut across the rear bumper. I suggest searching for Weltmeister exhaust or Carlsson Quad exhaust. Those are the most commonly used exhaust mufflers with the quad setup.

There are a couple people that have done custom dual exhaust with oval tip, using a generic/universal muffler (e.g. Borla).

Warranty can only be voided if there is proof that the part that replaced the OEM part was the cause of whatever issue you are having. The dealership will never have to touch the exhaust, if nothing goes wrong.

Now, if you have an aftermarket suspension, the dealership will tell you that they won't do any "warranty" work relating to a suspension (i.e. alignment, suspension noise, etc...), but that doesn't necessarily "void" your warranty. They just won't check it for free (if it seems like something is wrong).

the c55 bumper is just an AMG bumper without another cutout.

you don't need the C55 bumper if you want to get quad tips or dual tips. simple go to a skilled muffler shop and they can make the cut-out.

You might be on to something. Because they have no significant effect on your car besides enhancing the sound. I would just go out and buy a full titanium custom exhaust. $$$ I know but worth it. Might as well throw a race chip while your at it.

Eisenmann Race Exhaust on C230 - Sound good??

Hey guys, I know I have a 202, but since there are practically no Eisenmann Races among the 202 crowd, I thought I would try here. How does it sound? I have a 98 C230 (N/A I know, but I figured it should sound relatively similar), and I just want to make sure I am not throwing down $800 for my car to sound like a Honda Civic. If anyone has sound clips of 230s with the exhaust, I would GREATLY appreciate it, and feedback of course would be awesome. Thanks guys.

your car is hell clean. i love the whole look. eisenmann is a lil too loud for my taste. to keep your look i say get a remus or something much quieter and with a deeper tone.

I agree, thats one clean W202.

REMUS is what you should get. Eisenmann Race is too loud for me.

But one thing about remus for w202 is that it comes square tips, and i'm not a fan of that.

MAYBE you should get Eisenmann Sport?
