c320 vs c240 body differences?

2005 clk320 cabriolet
c320 vs c240 body differences?
I did a couple search and understand the only diff is supposed to be HP and a few options. However, one of the c320 owners i know claims there's a diff in the body. Anyone know?

well, depends.
If you get the C320 Sport Sedan. theres a diff in body. because the C240 comes as a Luxury Sedan. and the C320 can come in a Luxury Sedan or a Sport Sedan. so therefore, different body

The body is no different, only the options and if you get an SS you get some different wheels and different side skirts and panels. But the actual Body, Sheet Metal is the same. The only C Class, besides the coupe, that is different body wise in the C55 which has a slightly longer nose to fit the V-8 in there.

C320 sport sedans do not HAVE to have a AMG inspired bodykit. only for the facelift models, all sport sedans have amg inspired body kits.

'02 MB C240 6spd / '92 BMW 325i 5spd
i have a '02 c240 with sport package difference will be the obvious engine size, and then my front bumper has splitters and sport suspension.
OT: i have the spring and shock from my '02 if any one is interested

from 2001 to 2005, the c240 and the c320 had the regular kit. if you ordered a manual sport model, you got the sport bodykit. then, in 2006, both models ended and were replaced with the c280 and the c350. they have the regular bumpers, unless you order a sport edition c350, which will come with the AMG KIT>

like said above, unless u get the sport body kit it has this extra piece on the radiator grill and the splitters. I just checked the pics in my 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 C class brochures
