Mercedes is gone physically, but still in my heart.
SRS Light came on...
Can anyone tell me how the hell there can be a problem with the airbags/seatbelts? What would trigger this if nothing close to any impact or fooling around with any electronics occurred? It just doesn't make any sense. The car is in the shop as of right now, but I was just curious while waiting. Any input would be great.

There are lots of SRS warning posts !
My C32 has been in the shop twice already for the SRS light. Two days ago, it cames back on for the third time.
First time, the dealer changed the clock spring, second time, the wire harness (X1 connector Pin 9/10 loose) ....
I would be very interested to find out what is the cause your SRS light.

DTC Read - B1025
Just to let everyone know, twice, the code I had was: "B1025 driver's ignition squib resistance too high"

It actually seems like that what you guys have said about the passengers seat could be the case. It did happen when someone got in and out of the car (getting some stuff from inside) a few times then it went off when I began to drive so who knows.

The car is fixed, but of course the wonderful all knowledgeable service advisor could only tell me they "fixed some wiring under the dash." That's the best he gave me.
Look at the invoice, there is a job sheet, which should tell you the error code and the action taken to correct the fault.

Alright, here it is:
Cause:
541011 SHORT TEST, PERFORM 582 WM3 0.30
547943 ELECTRICAL WIRING HARNESS, REPAIR 582 WM3 2.20
8 002-546-13-41 A CABLE CONNECT
And that's about it. So it just looks like the were checking to see if something had shorted out or disconnected. They fixed it though

The SRS light is still on. Although they fixed the connector, but only two pins on the connector, based on all the SRS related TSB's, I think, my dealer should have changed out more pins to get rid the problem completely.

I've had srs light on a few months now but I remember seeing light first start to act up after someone sat on Passenger side. I had warranty work done before on srs system so taking her in to MB shop to see if 12 month guarantee will fix it. Wish me luck its pretty annoying to see that warning light.
