Ash leather interior
I prefer the ash over the charcoal because I find the charcoal too dark. I know that ash is more difficult to keep clean, but I don’t have any kids or dogs in the car to get it dirty.
Thanks!

My 2 cents about ash.......
The lighter color makes the interior seem larger
Hard to keep clean
Matches my silver exterior very nicely
Makes the power seat controls on the door stand out (kinda cheap looking)
but.......I should get my new 320 this week and I ordered the charcoal

I’m considering the ash leather interior, but have heard some people complain of an annoying reflection of the dashboard in the windshield to the point of being annoying while you drive. Anyone with an ash interior, do you see this reflection and is it a real problem?

Actually i find that Charcoal is harder to keep clean because if there are dusts settling on the seat you can easily see them. also the dash board is a killer to clean. I know this because i drive a C32 and it only comes in charcoal. i wish there be more interior color to choose from.
the hardest interior color to keep clean would be the JAVA color.
However, I do think the Ash/Silver looks good on the CLK.

What color exterior would you be getting with the Ash? I always thought (for the C-class) you needed to be over 50 to get the silver and ash combination. It looks kind of "old-manish" IMO.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
It is definitley harder to keep clean. Passengers tend to scuff the lower part of the door when getting out which annoys the crap out of me. Also, IMHO, the lighter colored leather tends to does get dirty more easily (especially if you have the sunroof open alot). Despite that, I am very happy with the color.
Glare is not even an issue if you ask me.

I'd be getting the Silver exterior. I don't care for dark exteriors, too difficult to keep clean. I guess I go for the "old-man" look, but I'm neither old nor a man LOL. I think the silver/ash combo is elegant IMO.

anyway, i think White would be a great color on any Mercedes. it brings out a more classy look

sorry to say I have ASH interior as well - I wish it was charcoal - I like my car clean and the ash colored carpet and leather is a pain to keep clean - form now on all my cars will have very dark colored interiors!!!
Are you guys meaning Oyster? When I bought my car the only leather options I had were Charcoal and Oyster, which I have. How can Oh Ryan have ash in his 2002 230?

BTW, I liked the light colored leather interior, but I was scared about keeping the carpets clean.
I ordered the black leather, but in regards to ash and glare.... doesn't the dash get darker on top to prevent glare. I think I remember seeing this in the brochure and I know that's what Volvo does on it's light interior cars.
