Short-Shift Kit?

Is there any other short shift kit out there other than just changing the linkage to the one from the C7 package?

How do you switch to the C7 shifter? What parts do you need?

Davidta- did you do it yourself like Bos or did you have the dealer make the change?

I had the dealer make the change, It took some convincing that the parts were out there but when I gave them the part numbers there parts guy made some phone calls and confirmed there was a difference for himself and then they were all to happy to install it for me.

Good to know. The big question...how much did it all cost?

The part itself cost me $350.00 or there about. The install at the dealer that was a killer $400.00.

Give it some time

Bos sent me his original linkage, which I'll be sending to UUC when I receive it. I'm hoping to pick up the short shift kit that he started with them. I've talked to them, and they're still interested in doing it.

So, I'll keep everyone updated as stuff happens.

BTW: they just introduced a polished dead pedal for BMWs which is a pretty good match for our cars. They're going to email me dimensions, so that could be an answer to another problem with our cars.
