Is it okay to drive the car.....

is it okay to drive the car even though it is over 1000 miles of the service A.?

i have 500 miles left for service A. I will have to use it to drive to SanDiego, so i wont be able to get it to do the service A. is this okay or will i be in critical condition.?

Not to worry, will not be significant if you are a few hundred miles late for an oil change (just make sure that you're not a few thousand miles late). Pay particular attention to your RPMs so that way they're not in the extremely high range when your oil is old.

As soon as you get back, schedule an oil change as soon as possible.

A few years ago, I went to the Beshoff Motor Cars in San Jose to test drive a pre-owned E55 (I was planning on acquiring a certified pre owned car at that time). They had just gotten this car in. The car was over 5000 miles overdue for an oil change! And this car was going to become a certified pre-owned car! Thus, I no longer trust Mercedes-Benz pre owned vehicles and thus I decided to acquire a new vehicle instead. So far, my family and I haven't acquired a pre owned vehicle and I doubt that I ever would.

You'll be fine.

When I got my MY03 W203, it said the service interval was 15000km. The newer cars (like the B-class) are all 20000km, but the oil used (Mobil1) is identical. Hmm...

The new synthetic stuff is great. My dealer was saying when I bought my car that it can actually last much longer, but most people have a hard time believing it after driving 5000km/change cars their whole lives. Also, we all know that dealerships make the most $ off maintenance/service

There should be no problem. I've gone over on virtually every MB I've owned for a whole host of reasons. By the way my BMW has a 25,000 km interval instead of 15,000 km for MB. They both use the same oil. Relax and enjoy your drive.
