I voted to repair because of the budget, otherwise it would've been AMG all the way. Plus you don't have the AMG front bumper yet so it may have looked slightly odd.

same here. as for rear bumper, the AMG and the stock one doesnt really make a difference on a BLACK car. If your car was say, white, you can paid the diffuser black.

but if it was the front, then i would had voted for the AMG bumper

Damn, sorry to hear about it MJ! I'd ask the bodyshop for a quote on fixing/repairing, then go from there. I agree with the others that if you don't have the rest of the AMG kit, there's really no reason to get it. Be easy on the wifey...I'm sure she didn't mean to hurt your baby.

I agree with Ryanr317 and advans in post #2 and #3.

1. The car will look odd if ther was an AMG rear bumper and no front AMG bumper and side skirts.
2. It really is hard to tell one has an AMG bumper on a black car. In fact, with my black C230 SS, I can hardly tell myself unless the light is hitting it in the right way. Almost makes me wish I had gotten a silver car.
3. Cost-wise, it's much more efficient to touch up an existing bumper than to replace the entire bumper.

i know it will look odd, but if i go this route, i will eventually get rest of the kit... when i look at the car everyday, i can TELL i ain't got amg bumper... if cost is acceptable, i want to get the bumper so there is cutout for my exhaust and CF the rear diffuser... can someone verify if 2x90mm exhaust tips will clear amg bumper cutout w/o modification?

Looks like stuff stuck on from what she hit. Just wash it real good, wet sand it with 1500 grit and then buff it out. I bet 90% will dissapear, the other 10%, just use a black permanent marker, most won't even notice it. Then when she hits it again you can say wow, I saved $1200 on an AMG bumper and painting.

went to dealer to get C32 rear bumper.
when i saw it, it was 05 C230 SS bumper.
dealer had two other part numbers in stock but didn't know which one was for C32.

if u know C32's rear bumper part #, pls let me know.
or pls PM me ur VIN so the dealer can find the right bumper for me.

Thats easily repairable by any body shop. I had similar damage before and just had it repainted.
