please help. somebody bashed my passenger window.HOW TO FIX.

i already post this, however i was wondering how do i fix a borken glass on the passenger side for a 2003 c240. Any help would be very much appreciated(webistes_). i just bought a glass window for $220 and installion would be around $300. i just want to save some money from this incident. thanks .

You have to take off the inside door pannels, unhook the electrical connections to the switches in the door (should be a plastic clip).

Once you are in there you will see what is going on. You might have to vacuum out the inside of the door as well.

$220 is for all 4 windows right? Afterall, the drivers window from MB lists for $85 and it's about $64 at Duval Motors online website where I get parts from. And the $300 to install, that's for all four windows too right?

Sounds like you are getting robbed if we are talking one window. Just go to a body shop as they can do this stuff quick and usually charge half the hourly rate that a mechanic shop would charge. I would expect the window will cost you $75 shipped to your house, and then $50-75 for labor, specially InSane Diego.

P.S., if you are savy enough to go to Hahn Motors in Carlsbad, sound like you know what you are doing, ask for the wholesale parts desk and order it like a pro you can buy it for cost which is even cheaper than $64.
