Question free oil changes, car washes, etc

i know that when you buy a MB, oil changes, car washes, etc are included but what if you buy from a dealership like 3 hours (because of price) away and want to get all that free stuff at the local dealership. can you still get free services from a dealership you didn't buy the car from? thanks

not sure about care washes, and free rentals, but the service can be done anywhere.

Freebies (other than service) are on a dealer-by-dealer basis. Just go to your local dealer's service dept., and ask them. They should be totally up-front about their policies.

2002 Mercedes C240 Desert Silver Java Interior
Hey whats all the talk about free car washes? I think its about time I get my car detailed and Mercedes charges $165.00 for it. I don't know if its worth it or what exactly is included but part of me feels more comfortable taking it in to the dealer rather than some guy that will be way to abrasive with it. What do you guys think? Also, really, whats the deal with the free car washes I keep reading about?

My dealer (as most in my area) gives you a sticker that identifies you as a customer. No sticker, no car washes, no loaners, no muffins. That's why I only shopped at my dealer because he's a mile away and has a good reputation. Now with a little creativity I was able to get a friend of mine a sticker for her ML that she bought elsewhere (not her fault as she moved into the area since).

Truelove,
Truthfully, don't expect any perks in our area (Suds or Midtown) unless you buy your car locally.
Loaners and car washes are reserved for people that support the dealership by buying cars there.
Chicago dealers are willing to deal a little more on price because they know they won't have to give you service loaners and car washes, since you won't drive up there for service.
Oill changes will be free regardless of where you take it.
