Mercedes is gone physically, but still in my heart.
Opinions on upcoming mods
Ok so my end goal is to have a very classy, luxurious looking car. Quiet as stock, yet flashy. Anyway, I have a few ideas and was wondering what you all thought of it.
First I'll be starting with the Rieger front lip. Gives me a little more aggressive look, yet not a complete face change to an aftermarket bumper. I'll also be tinting the windows 20%. And lastly (for the time being), get my turn-down tips cut, the bumper trimmed and have aftermarket tips welded in (not the crappy ones that bolt on from the turndown so it'll look like actual exhaust tips.
Anyway, that seems to be it until next summer, monetarily speaking. At that point it'd be my idea to do a Pioneer AVIC-Z1 DVD/Nav. Then I should be done.
Ok, so let me know your opinions.
Thanks,
Andrew

It's a possibility. I was thinking more along the lines of an AMG type exhaust. Just something to get rid of the terrible turndown tips.

It's either going to be the first or last thing I do. I'm debating whether I want to do that work and then have to drive it in the winter with it just installed. Or I should just buy it and hold onto it until spring. Not sure yet.

Maybe get some facelift (2005+) clear Headlights and Fogs? The older head lights (not clear) date the car more than it should ( I have the old ones on my c240 too and it doesn't look so hot). I like the rims... tints will complement them well.
I'd like to see some pictures after you're done.

Unfortunately, the AVIC-Z1 won't be for awhile. I'm probably going to end up not installing the Rieger front lip until spring, just because I do have to drive through crappy winters. Anyway, tint is up first. I have to find a time in my schedule to get home for it, but I'll post pics when I do get around to it.
