okay, i just got done ordering my car. i just had to tell everyone that i got a great price and it was all thanks to one website.
invoicedealers.com
alot of you may have already heard of this place. anyway, using this site, i got a call the next day from a dealer giving me a price of $200 over invoice. i didn't end up buying from them because i got my local dealer to get pretty dang close to that. anyway, that was his first offer and this was on a brand new 2003!
he told me this is how it works. when the car gets here equipped to my specifications, he will show me the actual invoice that the car came with and add 200 bucks to that and that would be the price of the car. no haggling, no worrying, that's it. it's all based on the invoice of the car.
anyway, i just had to tell everyone because i thought it was a great deal. this web site has dealers that work with it all over the country. the people it will hook you up with are all internet dealers who don't care about haggling a price and just wanna move alot of cars. they don't get paid commision (at least my guy didn't) so they dont' care about making money on the actual car. they just wanna sell as many cars as possible. these people don't even step foot in the showroom.
once again, i got a call the next day after using this site giving me a price of 200 bucks over the actual invoice (which he would show me and give to me in writing) without haggling at all. you can use this site to actually buy a car or use it as leverage to bargain with your local dealer if this site doesn't work with your local dealer like in my case. good luck everyone. and no, i don't work for this website.
oh man, this really does sound like an advertisement.
