I had a rough idle in my car that developed about 1 month ago. Looked in the forum and came across a couple of threads regarding this, they thought the motor housing could be a problem. I took my car to the dealer and they said that this was fine, but in my case there was a faulty sensor on my accelerator (tech said that the car was searching for the right speed in idle b/c of the faulty sensor and was therefore racing up and down a bit, causing the rough idle). I don't believe there is a "tune up" that you do for these cars.

Anyway, they replaced the sensor and it worked for me. That's the cheaper of the 2 alternatives I believe

When I wrote the thread on the subject someone replied that it was called the throttle position sensor which MB calls the pedal travel sensor.

Here was the thread on the subject:

If it happened immediately after you changed the plugs, I'd pull them all again and check the gap on them. If you accidentally dropped or 'dinged' the end of a plug, you may have too small a gap, and this plug won't fire correctly.

I've had to go behind the Mazda dealer (previous car) to fix the problem after paying them for the 60k service.

Hopefully it's something this simple. Good luck.

they fixed my car for that problem it was 800 miles lol but my car does the same thing but only when i turn it on on the morning i was sittin in the carr with the door open and my car jumped 2 times and i think that is normal since it does it every time it warms up but after it warms up its fine

but could that be the supercharger? cuz my car feels kind slow lol

i had a hose leaking i think maybe a vaccum hose? i had all cylinders misfire so i took off my stock airbox to access the leaking hose and just put on a standard hose that fit fine. Let me tell you my car was hauling major ***! im thinking since the hose was leaking maybe my car was boostin more? the thing was alot faster i didnt want to fix it haha
