SC muffler on M271

I know someone will have something to say...

But i have extensively searched forums for the removal instructions of the
SC muffler on the M271 engine...and nothing...seems like people have done it on the M111 but no real comments on the 1.8L M271..I have my fuel stage set higher in conjunction with a K&N filter and was wondering, by the removal of the SC muffler would I actually gain any power or will it be all SC Whine...I am wondering about launch and the freeway cruising, so if anyone has done this mod successfuly, recommends it or has a link for it..please do share your ideas..

From what i remember Pashap the SC resonator is actually built into the SC, unlike previously where you could remove it.

This means that if you were to remove it, you'd have a giant hole.

Unfortunate...
