do the Sport sedan and the Sport Coupe use the same sway bar in 2005?cause i always thought that the SS had thicker ones in the rear anyway

thats what I thought, I thought Sport Coupes, facelift or not use the same sways.

then Sport sedans are thicker. a bit thinner than AMG, but it seems as if c230 o5 has the SS sways.

well it looks like the sway bars are AMG finally i installed them today . Bergen Imports install the sway bars wich there also going to install
my pss9 soon
(((((there price for the pss9 is 1650 great deal))))))
he measured the rear stock sway bar wich is 14mm and the rear sway bar i installed is 16mm . as for the FRONT stock sway bar its 20mm and the one i installed is 22mm ,i think i dont remember but its all good. at corners i feel the car better not a huge big of a difference but its there you feel it . its worth it

some one posted the measurements for the sway bars on mbklasse.com
so here they are

Stock: 20 mm front and 13 mm rear
C32: 22 mm front and 16 mm rear
Evosport: 24 mm front and 19 mm rear
Eibach: 24 mm front and 22 mm rear
H&R: 26 mm front and 19 mm rear

If they were just "fkn" sway bars why bother? Good grief.

Oh come on, tell us exactly what's the difference -- explain the cornering... How much of a difference -- dramatic, or slight? You should be excited about it. I'm thinking about getting AMG sway bars for my car, so I want to know the effect, if it's minimal then forget it, so I'm waiting to hear if it's CERTAINLY worth it.

By the way, how much/long to install?

If you're looking to improve handling, thicker sway bars help, but upgrading to polyurethane bushings will help more IMO.

Maybe they're silver on the SLR, but for the W203 they are definitely black, looking no different from the stock bar (but working considerably better).

I'll have to disagree. My Brabus swaybars are the thickest available and work awesome. H&R are best "bang for the buck"
