Wife has went to NY with her mom and sisters today so I drove her car to work today and left the Lexus home!!! I really love my SUV but there are defiantly things I miss about having a car. When we go anywhere except WAL-MART we usually take her car and I usually drive but I don't do anything to stupid if she is in the car. I am pretty sure that I would get a few tickets if this was my everyday driver. I don't know if my next vehicle will be a car or a SUV...what do you guys/girls think are the advantages or disadvantages to having a car or a SUV, which do you prefer to drive? Just wondering...

If you can, keep an SUV for going through the white fluffy stuff and a sportier car for warmer season. That way you can keep your smile all year round. I'm not sure there's one good all-season-do-it-all car/truck. It's always a compromise.

this is simple:

women get the SUV's (big and safe for her and the kids)

men get the sports car (big pimpin)

That is the way I have it set up...and I am happy!

My ideal gargage would be a daily commuter sports car for me, the wifey's luxury SUV, and then a 4 seater hardtop convertible as a weekend car.

WAGON > SUV unless you live a life style that require you to take the car off-road. IMO SUV and trucks are just waste of gas.

SUV are not any safer than the cars on the road.

perfect garage for me would be luxury 4-door S-class/7-series, mid-size sport sedan E63/M5 ish catagory, two-seater or 2+2 sports car, and a minivan.

My RX330 is not used often in bad weather that is why I have the Jeep, we do not have any kids...yet... If we go on any trips we would usually take my SUV...NAV, more room, and more comfortable. If we are going out to dinner or something we take her car which is drives great...but getting in and out of it...is ok but man I must be getting old.

By the way my RX330 is AWD and I average 21-24 mpg...

thats why i went with the 4matic along with the sports package..... that way i dont have to drive a huuuge suv that will empty my wallets when i fill up lol

only bad part about 4matic is the aftermarket suspension options but who cares its a AWD shouldnt it be lifted??? jk

i'm glad i picked my car over an SUV tho
