Kleemann K-Box for M271 Engine
Can anyone tell me where the KBox is fitted to in the engine bay and what the installation process involves..in terms of KBOX only..Need to know if they need to tune the timing or anything else..Want to know if it is possible to remove it prior to servicing, to keep warranty intact..and refit myself after..
Is the KN filter reliable..Seen some treads where some have said, stock filter is good enough and once KN Filter breaks done, basically an expensive bill..Not sure if the risk is worth it..Please advice..

Once you install the K Box it is not easy to switch back like you would like to do. Some of the wires to the MAF and MAP are removed and connected to the K Box and spliced. The box is mounted in the fuse box under the hood. I dont know how it would affect your waranty.
