and i got my H&R/Konis on ice, waiting for next FA. the trim was a B TCH to put in, i swear i read up on so many threads looking for the right way to do it.. and in the end i broke a piece of my AC vent, LMAO! they ain't lyin' when they say the door is a PITA also, it took me forever to get the clips out, and then to put them back in. then i had to push and push to realign the door with the window.
thanks, it was hard but it turned out pretty well. there are some messups, but in the end i feel proud i did it myself
the gap is huge, it was bad before, but now with the rims it's OD. lmao.
i'm good, i've been waiting for some 18's, seems like everyone has 19's. with the potholes all over LA/Riverside, it's gonna work out well for me. i'm 5'5'' and i think my hands are small, but it is at least a 3-4 inch gap

haha, i'll just redo it, but thanks anyways. i have a tendency to stay behind big rigs and big *** 4x4's. damn rock chips. do you know what i can do to prevent it? clearcoat didn't work for me, and i sprayed it 4-5x.

what I learned from doing model car and 1/28 scale r/c that looks like model car: thicker the clear coat it's actually easier to chip since it'll be harder and less compliant. you want a even coat or two and polish it instead. Be sure to sand the chrome down and primer it.
what polish would you recommend?

v2.0 complete!
Yes, most of the exterior is done! was back home in Sacramento for springbreak, and just had to snap some pics. feels good to see my car go from stock to what it is now, and it's all thanks to the help from this forum! thank you guys for such a great place to learn and have fun in customizing my own car. i have now driven over 12,000 miles in this w203, and i am happy to say another 12,000 should be no problem! thanks to everyone that inspired my car to what it is now, and i hope i'll someday be able to catch up with yall with the next phase.
- put on MJ's K&N air filters, along with the kevlar intake tubes
- finally put on examinas' CL grille. [see you in CL hell! ]
- fixed all curb rashes and the bend on my wheels at TWS
- black brabus center caps [thanks cleve! ]
- put on the Euroteck CF lip
- dropped my car with H&R sport springs [1/2 a coil cut up front], along with Koni yellow shocks [thanks lance ]
- got my AUTHENTIC eisenmann slapped on [but no pics as it was done a few days ago] sounds so heavenly and growly
- drove home somewhat intoxicated, and scratched my front bumper [very irresponsible of me, i know ]
and a bonus shot of my old 2-hanging-penises muffler, along with my cousin's new c300.

i'm actually going to keep the depos, but i'm going to research a little more and upgrade the projectors/ballasts/ignitors. maybe if i'm lucky, i can get a TL projector with ZKW lenses! a BBK is certainly on my wanted list, but i gotta wait it out and find a good deal
i know right? but i like yellow, and well i got inspired by a lotta JDM cars, specially the S13's and S14's. black with actual yellow fogs are to me

Just read this, your progression was great! Looks good. Now, SLAM that thing and swap out that exhaust and your gold. Once again, coming along nicely.
