07 C230W: Can you program the locks?
I'm picking up a 07 C230W next week and I'm wondering if the locking sequence can be customized on the keyless remote. On my Bimmer, you have these options:
- unlock button unlocks the driver's side door on first press, and then unlocks the rest of the doors on the second press
- unlock button unlocks all doors on first press
Can I get the same features on the Benz remote?

You can change this setting yourself its very simple. I think you have to like hold down the lock button on the key for maybe 5 seconds? and then the light will flash indicating the change. This means that it is a setting on the key not the car. I have this set on mine: 1 click unlocks driver door and gas cap, a 2nd click unlocks all doors, gas cap and trunk.

I have an 04.5 MY and the programming was done using the key fob as fas as i can remember. The Sales Manager programmed it while he was doing the walk around in the car, he asked us our preferrence (all unlock or drivers side 1st)

take your MB key fob press and hold both unlock and lock button. wait for like 5-10 sec and the light on the key will blink twice. it toggles between opening all doors and/or opening just the driver door on the first click.

Remember when programing the key, for it to work from a distance of 300' you have to rub it on unkempt hair for 15" then program. Doesn't matter who's hair as long as it has not been combed.
