Fender Roll?
I have a 2001 C class and want to put some 19inch wheels on the car. I have been told I need a fender roll done. Is this ture? Does anyone out there have 19's on their C, that could help me.
Thanks a lot

maybe, maybe not. It depends on the wheels your are getting.
What is the wheel width?
Offset?
What size rubber will you be putting on?
The wheel manufacturer and/or the shop you buy them from should answer these question and tell you if a fender roll is in order.

Fender roll is for wider wheels. If you are doing +1, +2, +3 sizing without changing the tire width, the diameter doesn't change so rolling fenders isn't needed.

i have a 8.5" width on a 19" tire lowered with no rubbing at all and no modifications or rolling of fenders required. just have someone who knows their s**t do the install and you'll be fine.

well ever since i put 19, the rear was rubing quite often so i went to my panel beater and told them to roll my rear fender, and they told me the rear fender is alreaddy roled and you can actually feel it, it's difference from the front one. One way too make your guard bigger is to flare it or cut the rolled part.
If you gona put 19, watch out for the sharp plastic bits on the rear guard, i have to grind some of those part
