Sirius radio in 2002 C230 coupe...help
Guys,
AFter searching the forum for a while, I have not found anything to help me.
I need to know if there is a way to hard wire my sirius receiver into the radio. I do not have a cd changer in the glove box, but I thought maybe you ccould wire the receiver somehow in the glovebox where the cd-changer goes.
Is there not a way to install this without using the fm transmitter?
Help...

I think I have a link on my website but basically, throw a cassette in you never want to see again and play it and then shut it off, remove the radio, take the lid off and cut the traces on the circuit board going to the head, ground and left and right audio. Then cut off the wire from cheap headphones and solder that to the traces on the board opposite the head. Plug that into your Sirius, cut the wires to the drive motor and eject motor and put everything back together. When you want Sirius, press tape...

I believe 2004 was the first year for the MB Sirius receiver and even then, only late 2004's work. So it is possible to get a radio from a 2004 and get the Sirius module and make it work.
