Did the scratch go all the way through to the metal?
If not jst get some scratch remover (i used mercedes benz's product and it worked fairly well) and shine it. Here's the thing, You are always going to know where the scratch is, even if you repair it you are still goin to notice it and it is still going to bug you! + with your colour....worse comes to worse touch it up a little bit but you still will notice it!

Good luck!

it's not worth to repaint it for just one scratch

In the market
i had a few rock gouges on mine and just had the whole hood repainted. I have a few connections so it only cost be $200, but even with the hookup, the painter didn't lose any money (all materials and such were covered with my cost) so you should be able to find a painter to do it for a reasonable price not too far above that. Good luck

having rock chips and scratches is not a question if it's going to happen, but when. if you don't have a clear bra then expect more.

i try to minimize this by not driving close or tailgating cars and staying away from big trucks.

grr. i guess ill have to get an estimate on the repair and go from there. im always cautious drving behind big rigs and suvs, but the current condition of I-95 in my area totaly sucks right now. i avoid driving it at all costs. the scratch went down to the metal and its a pretty good size. We'll see what some of the estimates say

you might want to consider getting a clear bra too

I had a scratch that did not go away. I tried few scratch remover without success.
I do not think a scratch is repairable:
- A scratch remover removes clear coat to "level" the scratch... I am not sure you want to do that if the scratch is deep.
- Touch up paint will never match the original paint + clear coat.
- Repainting the whole part is overkill, and sometime noticeable.
