Oil change question.
I drive a 2002 c240.
I just got an oil change and noticed the tech used 15w-40 mobil 1. I was advised by another tech that I should use 10w-30 or 10w-40. My question is will the 15w-40 cause any problems? or is it ok?
EDIT: Nvm found the answer searching
15w-40 dino, great in warm climates
5w-40 synth, up to the job
5w-30 SM/GF-4 dino (HC) a cheap alternative that will work fine
0w-40 Mobil 1, prefered choice of dealers and CAFE MPG
0w-30 Syntec (German) da bomb
5w-30 Mobil 1, do not use it is too thin for German cars.
