What 350Z owners think of the C230!!
http://www.my350z.com/forum/showthread.php?t=232637

A C230SS with all more common options such as heated seats, Bi-Xenon etc, here costs around the same as a 350Z if not more.
I would get a 350Z if I want to get some cheap horsepower instead of spending an extra 10-20k to get a c55 or even a used 996.

the other day I raced a 350z with stickers lol that thing is not THAT fast, 0-35ish is my lead, and from 30-60 it pulled on me, and after that I was getting back up on him.
Compare a top of the line MB sports couple (eh, say a SLK55) to a top of the line 350z. You can't, there is no comparison.
I do like 350z, but there are just too many dumb axx kids driving 350z that thinks their car is the best..
Speed and performance is not everything - that's why people buy Ferrari's and not Porsche's. The features, the looks, the options, it all matters too. So on that bombshell, I don't respond to people who diss the C-Class (or the 3-Series), because no matter what they say it doesn't change my opinion of my car. I was aware before I brought both cars about cars like the 350Z or G35, etc... and I don't care because those cars are made to last 4 years and then they depreciate like Enron’s stock.
Just my 2cents.

No matter what you do to a 350Z, any Vette you buy will trounce it.
In short, no matter what your choice, there's another car out there that will beat it in some category or another. So, who cares?
Buying a car because it has one redeaming characteristic may give short-term joy, but you'll grow to hate it as the relationship goes on (kinda like dating an airhead beauty queen). I prefer to look for the all-around best package - maybe not the best in any/every category, but when considering all categories combined, rating the highest.
