Read this thread: https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w203/174184-looks-like-s-over-guys-last-w203-sedan-has-been-built.html

They build the C-class in 2 plants in Germany. They just ended production in 1 plant. I assume that they are retooling the plant posted in that article to make the W204.

hknladdr,

Thanks for posting the pic. I think it looks more blingy which is nice. I don't want to modify my car much at all really but price depending I might be interested in getting my OEM's chromed up. Thanks! I would get that option if I were you because not many people would have that mod. Good luck and thanks again for the pic!

Those look great silver, but the chrome really is the ticket. I am sold. Waiting for my dealer to quote a cost.

Actually, the coupe will be produced in Brazil from now on. And there is not really going to be one based on the new C (w204), it will be a coupe with a new bodykit to look like the new 204 but base on the 203 platform.

Damn, got a quote for the factory wheels chrome plated from the dealer, and they want $1295 I think I will just get a local place to do them when I replace the 1st set of tires.

Man, the wait is killing me. Just got an update from my dealer today, but it wasn't good news.

The car was finished 4 weeks ago and has been sitting at the port waiting to get on a ship. The latest is, it is STILL waiting to get on a ship. So, best case scenario is 4 weeks

Same thing happened to me. Give it over 1 month time-frame. If it doesn't get in by then, start figuring that into your negotiations...LOL...I did.

That's a good idea. Btw, did you get more discount because of the delaying on delivery drexappeal?

I got my car for 36K out the door (including tax title licensing). That was below the list price of the car, so I figured I got a good deal, since it had lighting package, comfort package and premium audio. I probably could've negotiated lower, but didn't want to hassle with it.

If I had known that the 2005's were gonna have upgrades in a few months after I got my car, I would've negotiated even lower.

Great idea. I never thought of that. Not that it really my dealer's fault that the car hasn't been loaded on a ship yet.

Not yet, but there are plans to consolidate V6 engines. 2010 model year cars from Chrysler and MB will share somethe same engine base architecture. Basically share the same short block, but intake, exhaust, and ignition and other various items will be different.

crossfire uses the 3.2L M112 that is in my C320. crossfire srt-6 uses the FI version used in the C32.

Thanks johnand and b3d_sage. Asides from the crossfire do any other current chryslers come with MB engines? Fack i'd hate for this to be true cuz then my a-hole friend will just rub it in my face by saying im driving and expensive or overpriced chrysler.

Well, the crossfire is the old SLK with cheapened materials. So, you can tell him that you're driving what everyone else will be able to get 10 years from now.

Well, the car finally arrived and I picked it up last night!

This is my 1st Benz, and so far I am VERY pleased with the car.

I'll post some pics as soon as the weather breaks, as it is raining and the car is dirty as hell already.

I will keep this as "my" thread and post all pics and mods here

Diamond Black If they had it when I ordered my car, that's what I would have. Has Dark Blue metallic pieces so the car changes color in different light.

You want to change the thread title? Let me know if you want to and what you'd like it to say. - drex

Congrats on the new car! I really like the 07 improvements and had one the other day as a loaner. The engine/exhaust sound great.
