That would be great to see to compare. I planned on crawling under the car and writing down the part number of the muffler, so we can look it up and compare and once and for all see if it really is AMG exhaust.

I'll vouch for Carlos and his organizing skills when it comes to a meet!
The one idea that never seemed to stick was the "Press Pass" w/ username and pic of your car! Carlos, maybe we should see if people are down to do that for the Pasadena meet? I still have the one you gave me a couple years back.

Yeah but I'm still afraid of breaking something in my car. BTW funny thing at the dealership, I was looking at some of the 07 rentals and they had the OLD DOOR PINS but everything else was 07 specs like wheels and trim 
I talked to the SA and he said it was something like a 2006.5 or something

I remember the good ol' days, when MB Meets would become impromptu installation parties. I don't know how many flat hood badges, clear side markers, door pins, rims being swapped, and taillights / light bulbs would get installed.
Heck I even had my AMG illuminated door sills installed at a Meet !
Then there were guys selling stuff out of their trunks... speakers, amps, fake Rolex's...........

Damn it, this car is just too smooth and quiet at speed. I have had the car less then 2 months and already got a speeding ticket in it. I got tagged with laser by an Oregon State Trooper. I was caught doing 77 in a 55 zone. He was hidden behind the concrete barriers on the side of the road and didn't see him until I passed him, then saw him in the rear view mirror. I am thinking it may be time to invest in a Laser jammer system, as OR and WA state police use it almost exclusively.

It started for me from 700 miles. I am at 2000 now and its only been a month. ahaha. the sound happpens after you are completely stopped.. give it like maybe 3 sec. then it repeats randomly. The dealer replaced a valve somewhere but that didn't do anything, they told me this is a common problem and it was noted in the benz's bulletin.

Doubtful. I consulted an attorney on my last similar ticket, and was told to just pay the fine and get over it. I was speeding, I got tagged by laser, and the conversation between me and the officer was recorded. The facts are the facts. If you decide to speed, you must accept the responsibility to suffer the consequences when you get caught. I accept them, just don't have to like them.
